LifeStream Blood Donation

Thanks to Bishop Davis (who's also the Vice Principal) for inviting me to North High School to give some blood to save lives. Since I love doing these types of things, I decided to go ahead and do it! And guess what? I met a very cute Asian "donation specialist". :)

Even though everyone at the high school is obviously still in their teens, it was weird to be in the crowd. However, Shota (the Japanese visitor that's staying with the Davis') and I were there so it wasn't as awkward because we're both in our 20's.

It was my turn to go and donate some blood but apparently, four of the specialist couldn't find my vein so they were wondering if I ate enough, drank enough or have enough sugar in my blood but of course, this isn't my first time donating blood so I already know what to do. But they still couldn't find my vein. :( but the good turn up about it was that the cute Asian, Andrew Taroreh (yes, I remembered his name), spent a lot of time on me. Touching my arm here and there, making small talk and making sure I wasn't hurt or feeling any discomfort. The bad thing about it is that I was constantly poked because no one could find my little veins that were hidden deep in my skin. Haha. Oh well. However, I don't know why they struggled so much when the people at MEPS did a much better job in finding my vein and drawing out blood. Hmm.

But thankfully, I did my part in saving someone's life.

Oh, and today seems to be the day where I'm constantly reminded of Blue Fox. And the big reason was because of the whole blood drive event... Because one of my plans was that we would donate blood together as a couple since we both like saving lives... I wanted us to go and donate our blood as a couple. Sigh.

Couple-y... Postponed.

Now that Blue Fox and I are officially boyfriend and girlfriend, I was feeling a little sad that I couldn't be able to show it off. I changed my Facebook status to "in a relationship" (I didn't even tag him in it) and he was telling me (on the phone) that I should take it off and not show it to people "just yet" because he's not suppose to be in a relationship at the moment since he made a promise to his mom that he wouldn't be in a relationship until he graduates and yes, he told me this ahead of time but since we're together, we just couldn't help it and just ended up in a relationship but we have to be hush-hush about it.

And  then he said, "I don't know why you want to tell everyone" and I said, "Is it bad to tell everyone?" and he said, "Well, no but just not yet"

So I have to wait to tell people about it... Siiiiiiigh.

I guess us being more couple-y will have to be postponed.

It almost makes me sad. :( bleh.

And now he's telling me that I have to wake up at 5am, run around campus and then come back home at around 8am (around the time he comes home from Army ROTC-PT). This is what you get when you have a health-nut boyfriend.

I woke up a little earlier today to send money to my mother in Baguio, since she's been staying there for almost two weeks now so after I send some money to her, I went to Red Mango to have myself an almond waffle and some green tea frozen yogurt... I haven't been there in almost two years? I was the only one inside so there was a lot of sitting room for anyone else. Minutes later, a lovey-dovey couple comes in and they order and seriously, out of the WHOLE STORE they sit RIGHT NEXT TO ME!

RIGHT. NEXT. TO. ME! There's room over there, there's couch space over there, there's tables and chairs over there or go outside! Ohmygod, why sit next to me?! And they were the ones that were touchy-feely and they were constantly kissing each other. I don't mind love, I don't mind kissing and whatnot but seriously... How many times are you going to kiss her nose? If you kiss her nose one more time, I swear you should just suck the living boogers out of it if you love it that much!
