Good without Gods

"They would tell us to be good because God was watching. And I would challenge them... Wouldn't it be better, I asked, if we were just good  and did good things and it didn't matter who was watching?"
- Nell Merlino

LOL OK I got this quote from an entrepreneur being interviewed by Reader's Digest.

This is an awesome video about morality- and by far the most logical, comprehensive and wholistic.

I think it would be interesting for some of you guys to know that during the medieval age, while Christianity has taken a backward step in terms of education and morality, the Islam countries and cultures flourished because they encouraged scientific studies and scientific exploration. In fact, a lot of pioneering explorers and scholars  (for some reason not cited or mentioned by Western reasearchers or Western history) were Muslim. If Galileo was a Muslim, his works would've probably been celebrated instead of him being condemned for it.
