Life's Changing. HOLY CRAP.

I'm not on this as much as I want to be. I'm sorry.

If some of you haven't noticed, I'm leaving in three weeks and four days (25 days) and when I talk to my friends about it, some of them mention that I don't seem excited to leave like the others and honestly, I'm not. I'm not excited because I left all my excitement back in June - When I was ORIGINALLY suppose to leave - and so right now, I'm left being anxious and nervous.

I'm slightly jealous over some people that I was suppose to leave with have their first duty stations while I'm still here, just barely leaving for BMT... I'm not discouraged at all though, I'm happy for them and I know everyone has different paths in life... I suppose mine was postponed and there is possibly a reason why I'm still here.

I Saved A Bee.

Yesterday, when my roommate/best friend and her boyfriend went to go clean up their soon-to-be home that they will be moving into in August, I decided to clean up a bit around the house. I saw that the dog’s water dish was empty so I went to go fill it up and Astro starts jumping around the water dish and I thought it’s because he wanted water but he just kept jumping and going crazy! And then he was trying to sniff something, I went to go check it out and it was a bee! It’s color was graying out so I knew that it was naturally going to die… It worked so hard in it’s life, collecting pollen ever since spring started and it was struggling to fly.

At first, I freaked out because it’s a bee and I’ve never been stung before. Also, I don't have insurance so I can't get treated because I don't have the money. Plus, I'm on DEP, so I have to be real careful but my heart started to soften when I saw it struggling to fly… I was like, “Poor thing~ It can’t defend itself. I must help it!” so I got a tupperwear and I put it inside but I wasn’t sure if I should throw it out the window because it might just not have enough energy to fly. I mean, my window to the ground is like 12 feet? But to a bee, 12 feet is like 2934023849023843 feet. I wasn’t sure if I should put it in the balcony because I’m afraid that my best friend’s boyfriend might go out there and smoke and accidentally step on it…

So I'm running back and forth in my apartment with a bee in a tupperwear, panicing and saying, "What am I going to do?! Where am I going to put you?! What do I do?!" and Astro's just looking at me like I'm on drugs but he's actually following me wherever I go.

And then I got the feeling that I needed to respect the bee a little more. It worked hard in it’s 35-day life, collecting pollen, being a good coworker with all his other beemates and making his Queen happy. So I decided to go out of my apartment and place him under a bush, where he can silently die on his own, with pride and integrity. And I placed him there so no one can step on it and he can just rest there, knowing that he did good in his life.

I saved a bee today.

Otter Saves Lives Everyday.

Yesterday was probably one of the best days that has ever happened to me since Blue Fox. Here’s why:

First, I booked my first choice in the USAF. YES!

Second, as I was on my way to the post office to send some packages, some guy was on his BMX bike and I don’t know if he was trying to pass me but he rode off the sidewalk and onto the road while doing this jump of some sort and instead, he skid and fell on the road five feet away from me. I was shocked but he was hurt…

Otter: Ohmygod, are you okay?!
Guy: Yeah, I’m fine… (gets up)
Otter: Are you sure? Was I in your way?
Guy: Oh, no no. I was just being stupid…
Otter: Are you hurt?
Guy: Um, a little. It’s not too bad. (picks up bike and limps)
Otter: Are you bleeding?
Guy: (checks) Eh, a little…
Otter: Oh no~ Wait. I have a bandaid and alcohol. (takes out mini First Aid from my bag)
Guy: Wow, you’re prepared.
Otter: Haha, mhm~ (rubs off the blood with wetones, applies rubbing alcohol and puts a bandaid)
Guy: Thanks
Otter: No problem!
Curtis: My name’s Curtis.
Otter: I’m Otter.
Us: (shakes hands)
Curtis: Thanks again for the bandaid~
Otter: You’re welcome~
Curtis: Well… See ya’ (rides off his bike and smiles)
Otter: See ya’ (smiles)

Yes, I have a mini First Aid kit in my bag. Some people think (and always thought) I was weird for having it in my bag but you never know what’s going to happen! But PB called me a “weirdo” because I touch random people. But look, another reason why I should have it in my bag! I saved a super cute guy from an infection! ♡

Lastly, my favorite and lucky number is “8” so a lot of good things happen to me when an “8” appears or I have a connection with those of “8”s and since it was on March 14… 3 + 1 + 4 = 8! Awesome!

That’s all I wanted to share.

Musical Turtle

Haven't posted much like I planned to but for a good reason... I was recording my first EVAR original song! After I recorded cover songs at our family friend's recording studio, he decided that my sister and I are good enough to have our own album of ORIGINALS. Like, omg. Next thing I knew, he contacted one of his composer friends who sent us a few samples.

So this looong weekend (no classes from Saturday til Tuesday here in the Philippines), we were at the recording studio, revising lyrics and the melody, and finally- recording! I'm still deciding if I should post it online but my material is still pretty raw.

Right now, I just want to drown somewhere because I have to compose lyrics for my second original song. Hnnnngh. Say what you want, but songwriting's a bitch, especially when inspiration just seems so elusive these days.

A milestone toward a dream,

Pucca Strikes Again

I think it's Pucca's life path to totally piss me off. Last Sunday, my groupmates and I all agreed to meet up in the resto across our school. On my way there that day, Pucca texted me that he'll be waiting at Mall of Asia.

WTF DUDE.

I said meet at Point A, then he decides to go at Point D?? I swear my blood pressure shot up and I had to hold myself back from thrashing the nearest passerby. WHY does he have to complicate things?? WHY?

It was a good thing Teddy was there to soothe my nerves when we drove to MOA to find him. On top of that, we couldn't contact Pucca because his phone was dead, though he did mention he'll be waiting at TBoy.

He waited for a couple of hours for us, because I had to wait for Teddy. And MOA is HUGE. It only added to my fury because I hate going to big-ass malls.

So when we finally met up with him, he was pissed. I was pissed. So Teddy was sort of a mediator. Pucca had no right to be pissed!

Anyway, in recent news, I went to school even though it was raining like murder. Only to be informed minutes later after I arrived in school that classes have been suspended.

Hungover

So my friend Spam invited me drinking last night with her high school friends. They were a cool bunch. There were a few drinking games and LOTS of shots. My sister joined us an hour later and she got a bit tipsy too.

I think I was drunk, but without the barf and migraine the next morning. I drank lots of water and still felt drowsy from the alcohol. On top of that, I fell asleep with my make-up on and my hair smelled like an ashtray. I couldn't figure out how to get rid of this tiresome feeling so... I cleaned the bathroom.

I scrubbed the tiles and the toilet as an attempt to cure my hungover.

After that, I took a looooong shower to rid of the cigarette smell on me, and I did my laundry on last night's outfits coz I was pretty aware of third-hand smoking in the house.

I feel okay, though not exactly energetic. But... placid.

Feeling post-hungover Zen,

Score

There's an idiot in my school who I happen to be acquainted with, and for some reason he just likes calling me "Ugly" or "Bitch" (both remarks go unappreciated) and my friends' theory is that the douche actually likes me.

Yesterday, at the corridor while I was waiting for my next class...

Idiot: Hey Ugly!!
Me: YOUR MOM'S CHEST HAIR!!!
