Holy Week and Sleepovers

So nothing much happening at Holy Week except the weather has been exceptionally hot and that I'm dying by the time I'm washing the dishes in the kitchen area. I have to splash cold, cold water on my face, neck and wrists to survive the heatwave during the peak hours at lunchtime.

Highlights of my break:

  • The cute barrista at Gloria Jeans. Plus the decadent chocolate cake.

  • Watching all the episodes of How I Met Your Mother, season 4. I swear, the 4th season is the best yet.
  •
  • My dad chatting with my mom with good news about his consultation with one of the top immigration lawyers in his area. We could be moving to the US in two years tops (they said I can't tell my friends about this which is weird but whateverrrr). Not really excited at the prospect in living in a country where recession is taking a toll on the middle-class and lower-class plus the militarization of the government, but I won't say no to an opportunity of getting a green card so I can travel like crazy outside of the US. On the flip side, I hope I get to see awesome people like Otter, Asian Buns, and my high school best friend. Aaaand I always wanted to go to New York and watch a broadway musical.
  •
  • Home-cooked food. HOME-COOKED FOOD.

  • I get to organize the boxes in my head and be insomniac as a result. (DAMN YOU DERP)

Yesterday,  I had my girl-bonding time with Charlie at Edeng's and we talked about- well- girl things. LOLWUT. We moved to 7-11 to get my chocolate fix while we were doing random queries.
One of the questions was if you could bring 5 people with you to explore a planet with aliens, who would you bring?
My list was Charlie, Ron Paul (WHAT), Godmother, Derp, and Dork.

Charlie  ended up sleeping over at my place since no one was home with me. My big bro went camping somewhere with friends, my lil bro is at the province, so it would've been me by my lonesome if Charlie wouldn't be able to go.
But she did so we ended up watching Rango (which we close-read like hell), The Sister Act, and some Dick Figures youtube vids. Oh, and for the movie marathon, Charlie bought a carton of Chuckie. UGH, I will not touch another Chuckie drink for a month. Too much chocolate will kill me.
Sweet mother of God, we ended up sleeping around 5am. Then had to get up at 8am so I can catch the 9am train to get to my 10.30 final exams on Philosophy. Went to school with lack of sleep like a bowss.

Hmm. I've forgotten how awesome sleepovers were.
