Otter's Baptism.

Picture 1: Greenwood cutting cake for everyone!
Picture 2: My second mother and I.
Picture 3: Elder Opeda and I! (DON'T WE LOOK ALIKE?!)
Picture 4: Elder Preator, Joe, Me and Elder Jeffery

Of course, pictures are not allowed during the baptism so you can't really see me getting dunked but I did wear a one-piece jumpsuit that reminded me of an astronaut suit.

Everyone sang for me and I was getting ready to get baptized...

Joe and I went into the baptismal font and he held my back and I held his hand and he said a small prayer and then dunked me!

Now, here's the scary part:

Even though being dunked in the water briefly is only a few seconds, it felt like I was in there for five minutes. The whole thing was in slow motion for me... It was weird but as I was in the water, everything I was and am going through flashed so quickly and as I was coming up, I felt this HUGE pressure on my chest and when I was actually standing up straight, I felt like my heart was heavy. I heard people trying to clap quietly and some were tearing.

As I was walking off the font and back into the dressing room to change, Joe came up to me and congratulated me and said he was proud of me, as we were hugging, I was starting to choke up. Then my second mother came in and I broke down crying. She came up to me, hugged me and cried with me and said how happy and proud she is for me.

Honestly, I still don't know why I cried...

And apparently, in a religious sense, that was my calling.

While I was getting changed, I heard everyone bear their testimony for me and some of them were really sweet. And I loved how Elder Preator just looked at me while he was doing his testimony and Joe did another one of his testimonies and he really bared his feelings with everyone.

I am glad that most of them were able to come and I'm even more happy that Elder Opeda (who was one of the first Elders that came to my house along with Elder Larsen, the gorgeous Elder who was sadly transferred farther away from us) and all the other people that I've met. Even the cute, quiet Star Wars geek came to see me.

After, we all ate cake and milk and went home.

It was a good day, I must say.

Now  A Mormon,
Otter

PS: Thank you, Indigo. Ily. <3
