Pre-Baptism Stuff.

So church was good. The only problem was that my baptism was announced more than five times during the whole time! LOL. And I had to keep announcing myself and stuff but it was all good since I knew almost everyone in the church anyways. It's just... Funny.

ANYWHO, Mother Davis brought in some chili! She totally fed the whole church (well, those who can actually make it to the kitchen in time) and not surprisingly, I was the second to arrive to get myself a cup (or three) and of course, the first one was Chubbers. HAHA!

While I was stuffing my face with chill and crackers, my mom called me but I didn't feel it vibrate in my jacket pocket so I didn't know but she did leave me a voicemail and it went like this:

"Hi Otter. It's your mother. I'm just calling you as my very last chance to try and convince you not to convert to Mormonism. I know that it's 4pm there so church is over... I swear, you cannot be a Mormon! You cannot leave me! If you go through with this... I don't know... I will convert with you! YOU CANNOT LEAVE ME!... Okay. Call me back after you get this."

My mother's so cute. LOL. Knowing her, she wasn't serious but the voicemail was hilarious! The first time I told her that I was going to convert, she immediately called me and the first thing she said was, "YOU'RE GOING TO BE A MORMON?!" and now, when we talk on the phone, she no longer calls me by my name... She says, "Hey Mormon" or "Goodnight, Mormon girl" - I'M BEING BULLIED BY MY OWN MOTHER!

Anywhoooooooo...

I got to meet up with some new people too! Which was exciting and I met this really cute, shy, Mormon Geek who loved the fact that I wore a Star Wars shirt. And I think that was the reason why he kept staring at me.

I got to see my two cakes! Greenwood made the two cakes for me! He's so sweet! And they are homemade cakes~ Homemade carrot cake with homemade icing and then homemade chocolate cake and homemade chocolate icing. Another reason why to love the Mormons. THE FOOD IS DELICIOUS. And I was happy that I got two homemade cakes. (I have some competition!)

The pre-baptismness was really fun. I got to laugh with everyone and hear everyone's stories and I think I lost like, 10 pounds just by laughing!

BWAHAHAHAHAHA~

And there's this guy, who's a bit... Special Ed... I don't want to be mean but he looks like Quasimoto. LOL. NO OFFENSE. But he asked if I was single (because, well, I am from the 'singles ward' although people in the singles ward can be in a relationship) and I felt a little awkward because he asked and he was standing like, two inches away from me when he asked and I told him "yes" and obviously, I told him it was Blue Fox. LOL. Which is... Somewhat true? It's just Blue Fox doesn't know it. LOL.

After about two hours of eating awesome chilli and saltine crackers... We all headed off to the Grand Building to witness me being dunk in water! :D
