So I already get pissed at people during details... Now I have a new reason to be pissed at someone new. klsjdlfkjsdl;jfl;jsdl;fjdsf. The last two weeks haven't been my week.

ATP Probs.
I've been trying to get a hold of my MTL (Military Training Leader) because last Friday, I missed Open Ranks (which is you show up in whatever uniform they want you in and meet up at a certain time, certain place with your transition card so they can check you, see if you keep your uniform looking good and such) because we had a manditory First Duty Station briefing (a briefing about where we're going after Tech School) and so I told him about it ahead of time and he said that I can miss Open Ranks for it but to come see him Tuesday (yesterday) and make it up. So I did, but he wasn't around so I wasn't able to get my transition card stamped.

Four More Weeks.
Four more weeks until I leave for the United States Air Force BMT (Basic Military Training).
So many emotions are interacting all at once and I don't know how to deal. But I'm sorry that I haven't been posting as much as I want to. I'll try and get it all out there before I leave though.
Just thinking about it makes me nervous and when I'm nervous, I got to go poop... Real bad. Sigh.
But I'll surely miss you, Turtle. I know I'm not leaving YET but I just want to put that out there so you know right now. :)
Soon-to-be-trainee,
Otter

Goodbye, My Baby Selena :(
So about a month ago, Joe has been having a hard time with Selena because well, it's not his dog, it's his three other roommates but (not) surprisingly, they're NOT feeding her. Three weeks ago, NONE of them fed her for four days (insert me cursing like a mother bear) and a week before that, the apartment manager saw they had a dog and it's not allowed on the apartment grounds but they still wanted to keep her but of course, no one's taking care of her. Joe has work AND school and the three other guys are going to start football season so they are going to be gone ALL day so who's going to take care of her? It'll be really hard and it broke my heart that she hasn't eaten in four days. Yeah, yeah, people keep telling me "she's just a dog" ... STOP RIGHT THERE, that's where I draw the line and punch you in the face. She may be "just a dog" but she's an innocent dog that did NO harm to anyone, doesn't bark and is trained. The only thing that I hate about Selena living in that tiny shitty apartment is that they beat her A LOT because she chews stuff up and whatnot. UM, NEWSFLASH. SHE'S ONLY THREE TO FOUR MONTHS OLD (judging by her teeth since she still has her baby teeth) OF COURSE SHE'S GOING TO CHEW STUFF. SHE'S TEETHING. -_- Also, you'd have to be stupid to let your stuff lie on the floor like your headphones, anything with wires, anything that looks interesting... Everything looks interesting to a puppy. So you have to puppy proof your home just like how you'd baby proof your home for toddlers.
But we ended up going to the store and buying her food (since I almost did it myself since those guys wouldn't do it for her) and even though she's not my responsibility, I cannot stand a starving dog. I JUST CAN'T. That's one thing Joe was "afraid" of is that I'd spoil her. IT'S NOT SPOILING. It's called "giving her attention" and playing with her. She listened to me, she followed me and she understood what I wanted her to do. I played with her, I napped several times with her and I just gave her SO much love which she NEEDED. She needs guidance because she's just a puppy! But Joe was serious about giving her away... Since they can't have her because it's against the apartment rules and they were already given a three-day notice. The three day notice was either the dog leaves or everyone moves out.
Three weeks ago (I think), Joe saw his usual customers that come by his work (a gas station) and they happened to own a animal shelter (more like an animal ranch for rescues) and they were interested and saw pictures and actually got to see her so a few days after they were notified about Selena and met her, they decided to take her in.
A week after that, she got adopted by the Riverside Police Station! Soooooo she's going to be a guard dog and a rescue dog! I'm bittersweet about it because I was excited to go to Joe's house now because of her but with her gone, I'm sad but I'm happy that she's being adopted by the police station and is being trained and loved by so many people and is going to do some serious work for the good. So I'm happy for her but I do miss her a lot. :(

I'm Trying To Update...
I'm sorry I haven't been able to update on here for a while. Some days, I'm really busy and then there are days where I'm in my room, in my bed, hibernating. So, I apologize. And I'm going to update little by little so it's going to be all over the place... I was originally going to update with EVERYTHING put out there but I realized that will never happen because it's too much. So I'll spread it out. Haha.

WTF is up with today?
Today was weird. I left the house at 1130am to go buy stuff from K-Mart and stamps at the post office. Since I don't have a car, a bike, a ride or even a scooter, I had to walk. And it was 105 degrees of straight desert heat. OMFG. I HATE RIVERSIDE. And I finally came home at 430pm. And in the middle of all that, I got called a "negro" by a poor Mexican and I was told off by some hick in his car while stopped at a stop light saying, "Asian! You! In the black shorts! Go back to your home country! THIS IS AMURRICA!" - Sadly, I'm more American than he is.
Knee and PT. Sigh.
My knee is bothering me. -_- I mean, it doesn't hurt too much but the fact that I know it's still there is what's bothering me.
And tomorrow's PT at 8am but I'm going to have to miss it because I don't think it's a safe idea for me to walk from the Bishop's house at 515am to be able to catch the nearest bus stop that gets there at 614am. I'll go next week at the 4PM PT. -_-

DEP CC and Marching.
I met up with my recruiter and my fellow DEP'rs. We made a love package for her (USAF) husband who's deployed in Afghanistan so we sent him some good stuff. Junk food, shaving cream, packaged Gatorade, and someone gave him an iPod shuffle. UM, OUR LIMIT WAS $10, DUDE! Hahahahaha.
Then we got a briefing about the news in the USAF. In Lackland AFB (where our training is held), there has been a lot of investigation happening because there are MTI's who are harassing or sexual harassing people or something like that. Men and women but more on women so they're kicking out MTI's and discharging them from the military and even those who are under suspicion are being discharged so it's serious stuff. After that, we went outside for a test... We had to do our 'reporting statement' and then we all got together and marched. We have two new kids and one of them is Art. We were commanded to do a "change step" but he did a "change step" and a "about phase" AND THEN HORRIBLY CRASHED INTO PEOPLE. It was like a bowling ball crashing into the pins. IT WAS HILARIOUS! XD
After that, we were all briefed on what we're going to do for the next two DEP CC's. So, August 4th is Ultimate Frisbee (I'll bring my own this time) and September 1st, we're running UP Mount Rubidoux (Roo-bee-dough) sigh. Maybe... If I pretend to pass out... Some hunky DEP'r can carry me? HMMMMMM.
Then we were all dismissed. I was going to talk to Sgt. Fears about my right knee but I'll just ask her on Wednesday when I see her.
I'm not sure if I told you about my knee...
Well, I've been feeling this weird discomfort in my right knee. When I do a squat (like I'm going to do a duck walk), I don't feel it but it's when I do a pivot to my right side and put my weight on my right side, then I'll feel it and sometimes, it'll hurt. I don't know if it's something that I have to address or let it go but I feel like I should just to figure out what's wrong. I've asked some of my guy friends who are all into physical body and whatnot and they say that it's either I used my right side too much, or I've strained it or over-used it or I didn't stretch out enough. :(
So, yeah. Meh.

North, Frisbee, Knee.
I helped the Bishop on some work at North High School (since he’s a vice principal) we rounded up all the students who are taking summer school and I was in charge of grouping them into subjects and sending them to the counselor’s office. I’m surprised at how many students are taking summer classes (appox. 1600 students) and I was getting irritated at how much they lack discipline, how they don’t listen and how they’re just so goddamn slow! Sigh. But after having them fix their schedules (because they were too stupid to fix it before summer school started), I went into VP Davis’ office and I managed and filed the “drop outs” and I went through 20 pages of drop out students. WHO DROPS OUT OF SUMMER SCHOOL?
So, I worked/helped out for eight straight hours and cut Bishop’s work by two~three hours. I had fun doing it, actually. I also reorganized his office because I’m nice and OCD.
And then I went to Ultimate Frisbee.
But I didn't run as much as I wanted to or as fast as I wanted to because I've been having this discomfort in my right knee. So I didn't want to make it worse.
For two almost three weeks now, I've been feeling this discomfort in my right knee... When I squat all the way or do what's called a "duck squat" and I pivot to my right knee, putting my weight on my right knee, there's this discomfort right in the middle of my knee and behind my hamstring. And I don't have it on my left knee... Just my right. But if I keep my right knee bent, the discomfort's gone but if I were to stand up, I'll feel it and have to walk it out to relieve it. I don't know what's the problem and it's bothering me because I want to fix it. I've never had this before! Some of my friends tell me it's because I'm either overusing it, or depending on my right side too much or I'm not using it as much as I should and then overdo it when I work out or I'm not stretching enough in the area.
Sigh.
Mrrrrrr,
Otter

I Regret Nothing.
I wonder if what I did today was a good thing.
I went to the UCR's Institute to meet up with the Elders to have our lesson. After our hour lesson, we departed and I walked to the University Village to stop by 7/11 because I wanted a drink and some beef jerky. I then went out to sit on the chairs outside 7/11 to call Mrs. Davis regarding if I can finally move into her place for the time being because I'm dropping off Emily at the airport tomorrow and she's going to be gone for three months and I'm definitely not staying at the apartment with just her boyfriend.
So, I called Mrs. Davis but she didn't answer so I had to leave a message, as I was waiting for the voicemail message to finish so I can leave one, this young black kid comes up to me...
"Brother Zoned"
So at church, I'm apart of a trio: Joe, Glenn and I.
We're mostly together most of the time and when we are, it's awesome. We watch movies together, we eat together and we're always together so it's almost like we're inseparable.
But lately, I've been sensing Glenn is thinking different and I should have trusted my gut because just a couple nights ago, when he was dropping me home, he was going to ask me something... I knew in my gut what it was going to be.

Benji Schwimmer. SYTYCD Winner. Mormon.
(061212)
I'm not sure who here watches "So You Think You Can Dance" tv show but there's a dancer named Benji Schwimmer. He's a good dancer, he's also a member of my church and he was my friend Glenn's old companion during their mission... On Tuesday, we all get the news that he announced that he was gay. He finally came out after struggling to come to terms that he was gay and he struggled to accept it because he's been a devoted member to our church but ever since he finally accepted it, he left our church and is now "ex-communicated" (that means that he's no longer affiliated with our church)
The way we found out was when Joe, Glenn and I were at Ontario Mills (a mall) eating Panda Express and then we see Glenn on his iPhone, scrolling around and then his expression changed from content to worried and disappointed (?) and then he told us if we knew Benji and Joe knew of him but knew his sister and I know of him because he was on TV but I knew he's from Redlands. So then Glenn told us about it and how they were companions for about six months during their mission (which is a long time) and then told us that Benji came out and announced that he was gay, leaving the church and is now doing whatever. Joe and I were a little surprised that he decided to leave and we thought it was a little harsh.
Later after we ate, Glenn couldn't call him because Benji lost his phone so he just sent him a private message on Twitter. But to know that he left the church and is now ex-communicated left a saddened feeling... I can't imagine leaving my church, I can't imagine the church ex-communicating with me or anything like that... I don't even want to think of that feeling but for Benji to go through that was really sad.
I don't know why he left the church, I mean, is it just because he's gay? I know some Mormon's are hella sketchy with that issue but there are some that understand (Andi and I). A lot of Mormon's think that Andi and I are not Mormons because we support gay rights, gay marriages and have gay friends and best friends but it doesn't make you any less of a devoted disciple of God if you follow His word but, I don't know. I just heard the news and I just thought of telling you guys... I just wish that the situation was so harsh. :(

DEP PT and Bus Transit.
Hello everyone!
I'm sorry I haven't been updating this, I know I should though! I've just been really busy lately.
Today (05/09/12) I had DEP PT but since I'm no longer getting rides from my neighbor, I had to take the bus and I arrived at the office 30 minutes late but I managed to get with the guys and start my PT. We had to do 10 laps, and after every 2 laps, we do a core work out. 40 jumping jacks, 40 bicycle crunches, 40 push ups, 10 burpees, etc etc. So, it was kind of intense but at least I wasn't too far behind with the guys. But since I came late, I had to do an extra 40 push ups. But it was good seeing everyone again. Haha.
I spent three hours on the bus just to commute... Sigh.
Oh well. BRB. :)
Love,
Otter

Otter Is Heartbroken
Won Bin (one of my favorite actors) is getting married on April 31st, 2012! I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW HE WAS IN A RELATIONSHIP! HOLY FIGGING CHEESUS! I know that he's already in his early 30's but still!
WE WERE SUPPOSE TO GET MARRIED!
Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Sigh!
I'm going to stuff myself with this large tub of ice cream as my heart screams in agony that I lost another perfect man in my life! S-freaking-IGH!
Heartbroken,

I Ditched The Forklift.
Sigh. I feel bad for turning down a job but however, I think the guy didn't explain it well enough because the building that I went to only trains those who are going to be licensed and certified to drive a forklift and other machinery.
And even though it's $35 each machine and he was telling me to do two (Forklift and Stand-Up) that's about $70 but he's giving it to me for $65, it sounds good BUT, once I'm certified and licensed, he'll give me a list of places that are hiring for that kind of job. And then now, my problem is transportation. And I spent a whole night thinking about it and it didn't seem logical that I'd be sending basically all the money I have, to be licensed and then, not really know if I can get the job and plus, I leave in June. So... I just didn't see the logic in it. Because let's face it, when is the next time I'll EVER drive a forklift? Almost like... Never.
I'll probably go for it later in the future but right now, I just don't see how it's an investment. I mean, it'll be awesome to have it because then I can be like, "HELL YEAH! I CAN DRIVE A FORKLIFT!" but... Really. I can't own my own forklift and drive it going to work or something. I'm thinking of keeping it as an option in the future but not now.
Meh.

Elder Jeffery and FHE
Saturday (3/17): It was freaking storming! Rain, wind, hail, more rain, thunder and it was super gloomy and dark but it was Elder Jeffery's last day with me before he transfers to Manifee to finish is last six weeks of his missionary. So I walked in the rain to Subway to meet up with them to do a little lesson and it was a little weird because a lot of people saw us and were probably wondering, "What are these Mormons doing in a Subway? Why are they reading the Bible in Subway?!" but it's whatever. At least we bought food. So, chill your undies.
Sunday (3/18): It was church and I had a gift for Elder Jeffery. I wanted to give it on Saturday because that was the last day and I wasn't sure if he was going to drop by the church but I texted him and asked and he said that he's going to drop by to get Elder Gregor and say 'goodbye' to me. AWWWWW! So I took that chance to give him the gift. It's a booklet of little illustrations called "A New Look on Mormonism" and it was made waaaay back when Mrs. Davis' mom had it so it's kinda old. And when we were doing a lesson at the Bishop's house, Mrs. Davis showed it to us (Elder Jeffery, Elder Preator and Elder (Michael) Plotkin and I) and we all loved it and I decided that since we're all so close, I printed them each a booklet so it'll be like just us who know about it and it all had a letter in an envelope too. When I handed it to Elder Jeffery, he had this incredible smile and was so happy and excited because he remembered the night we had that lesson and it was hilarious. Hahahaha. He said that he will add me on Facebook in six weeks. LOL. And Elder Preator liked it but he kind of had to put it in the car instead of carrying it around church (Boo!) but I wanted to give it to him because I don't know when he's leaving and his birthday is on April 22nd (I feel like a stalker) and I gave Michael Plotkin his copy because I know he's leaving for his mission on April so I wanted to give it to him because I don't want to wait and then he suddenly leaves. So, yay!
Me: I hate how Elders suddenly leaves when you've build a bond and make friends with them.
Indigo: Yeah, that happens.
Me: Why do they change companions or suddenly change locations and not tell you?
Indigo: Because we're not suppose to get too familiar with one specific person or people and it's suppose to be there so that the guys don't build bonds with pretty girls.
Me: Ohhhhhh! No wonderrrrrr! No wonder at my baptism, when I saw the Elders, I was so happy that I almost hugged them but I remembered it's a BIG no-no.
Indigo: Exactly.
* So sad. Well, soon enough, they don't be Elders so then the rule is off! Hahaha. Yay!
** OH! Since we have General Conference on the 31st and the 1st of April, some people might be going up to Utah to witness it. So I'm thinking of some people to find and go with so I can see Indigo! And we can go to General Conference together! Let's hope it works! Because General Conference only happens every six months so... :(
Today (3/19): We have FHE tonight! Yes! So, since the ladies won the trivia game last week... That means that the guys have to make us dinner and they announced that they will be making us carnita burritos and chalupas! MMMM, SOME BOMB MEXICAN FOOD! I'm excited. So tonight, we have Institute/Bible study and then dinnerrrrrrrr! So I'm just chilling until it's 7pm (Institute starts at 730pm) and 8pm is dinner. ksldjfkjsd;lfjasdfjsdfdslsdjfds, so hungry! I have to fast until the end of the month because that's when I get money. Sigh. Life sucks without money. Lol.

Lol.

Job, Where Art Thou?
I'm going to try and recap as fast as I can because I got a ton of poop to do.
Saturday (03/10/12): I finally met with my old friend, Trace-face, and we haven't seen each other for eight years! So finally, we decided to meet up and go to a leadership convention and since she loves her spot in the company, she gave a good word in for me to her higher boss and I even met her boss that came with us. And I loved the convention! So I'm thinking if I want to be apart of it... And they said that I can even work at home and since they know that I'm joining the Air Force, they said that I can still work with them even if I'm deployed and stuff. There's a lot of military people in their company too. I got to gather up some questions and ask. Now I know how Blue Fox feels. Sigh.
Sunday (03/11/12): Church is church and it's the same. Lol. Nothing much to it.
Today (03/12/12): I'm going to FHE (Family Home Evening) and hanging out with the churchmates. I'm kind of nervous because this is the first FHE I've ever been to (even though I tried going)... I printed out some stuff and hopefully I can get something in. I got to get my reading in too! I'm still looking for jobs and all of them are too far. Sigh. Horrible. Ummm... Yeah, let's see how all of this plans out.
