You can't imagine how excited I was when I saw your post about Ron Paul, Turtle! Because I love him! He is amazing, he has a big heart, he understands the people, he knows his shit, and he wants America to be the greatest America that it was before. I want to say that he's a genius but he just knows the REAL deal. He's no joke, and I hope - I HOOOOOOPE - he wins the presidential elections in November!
Here is my belief: In 2008, Obama was just a hype. I mean, he is a great speaker and he is an intelligent man but... He lacks leadership and he doesn't know how politics work (in my opinion). Before he was president, he was a senator for TWO YEARS and then before he became senator, he was a TEACHER/PROFESSOR. He has the intelligence to back him up and he knows how to be powerful but he doesn't have a solid foundation on how to work things. And honestly, ever since he became president, everything went bad FAST. We were losing homes, we were losing jobs and professions, people were becoming homeless, real estate went up 5% in the last year, and taxes went up 10% in the last year alone. Imagine how much things went up ever since he became president! In past elections, the "white community" were the highest in terms of voters, then it was followed by the Hispanics then the Asians and then the "African American community". When Obama was running, he got a lot of celebrity fame real FAST and then, the "black community" was the number one in terms of the highest voters. So in a way, I took that as a "publicity stunt"... So I didn't register to vote because I didn't believe in any of them. Well, I was about to vote for Sarah Palin because she seemed alright but she seemed a little iffy... I don't know if it was her weird Alaskan accent... Lol.
Now, ever since the new elections have begun (sometime ago), I've been trying my best to keep up and I would even talk to my neighbor about it (who's also a big Ron Paul supporter) and I'm trying my best to keep up because I SERIOUSLY want Obama out. I don't want to be mean, but it's just business. (LOL).
The reason why I love Ron Paul is because he knows his shit and he's not afraid to put it on the table. He touches subjects that no one else wants to talk about or even want to pay attention to. It seems like everyone keeps talking about the war in Iraq and supporting our troops to keep going on with the war. No one really wants to talk about health care, no one wants to talk about building up America, no one is really talking about how to solidify our nation. But Ron Paul is. And as a Texan, you know he will put all the real shit out there whether you like it or not.
All the other runners who keep interrupting him OBVIOUSLY shit their pants and want him to stop talking the truth because they'll keep soiling themselves. They think he's talking "nonsense" but this is real. This is OUR lives. This is OUR nation. And I believe they know that he's a threat so they try to cut him off but in reality, they're just making themselves seem more like dickheads than gentlemen's. And the last thing I want is another dickhead running the White House. We all need a real man, a gentleman and a true American to run this place. IT'S ABOUT TIME.
I LOVE how he's a conservative, a libertarian and STILL a republican. Some people say you can't be all of those at the same time but I think that's bullshit. You can still be a republican and still promote liberty. He supports all marriages and believes that gay people deserve to have the same right as everyone else yet he believes that we need to support the troops because they are the ones that are protecting the citizens. He's a doctor, so he knows the importance of health care and medicare. HE IS THE MAN WE NEED.
There are two things that stood out to me with Ron Paul.
Ron Paul believes that we need to CLOSE the boarders so that no one gets into the US illegally, he believes in closing the boarders and focusing on the NOW-Americans. He believes that we need to help the American's get jobs, get them health care and all of that FIRST. He believes that we should help ourselves first before we can even try to help others.
Barack Obama believes that we should be helping them. (And I understand that we should be helping people but he's talking about even supporting the illegal immigrants) and he is giving those illegal immigrants medical, health care and jobs. When not even the American citizens who were born in the country can't even get those! American's can't get health care when an illegal immigrant can?! I DON'T UNDERSTAND. How are THEY given jobs when WE can't?! Don't get me wrong, I believe that America can help those who believe in this country but DO IT PROPERLY. DO IT LEGALLY. Do it like everyone else. GET AT THE BACK OF THE LINE AND DO IT LIKE EVERYONE ELSE.
I'm not against helping others and I'm all for it if you want to come to the US for a better life... But I'm not for it if you're going to cheat your way here to get the benefits when not even the American's here are even getting it because they either don't have enough credits for it or are just rejected from it. NO BUENO.
Ron Paul believes that we need to establish a better defense here in the US with our military. He knows the needs for the military. He is a retired Air Force! (HUAA, USAF pride!) He knows that we don't need to be spending our money on wars that NEVER existed and doesn't believe that we need to be borrowing billions of dollars from China and the money that WE have just... Disappears. He believes that the money needs to go into making a better structure for the military to PROTECT the AMERICANS.
Barack Obama believes... Honestly, I have no fucking clue because ever since he took over, he's just been mishandling everything. We've done nothing but reenact Bush's bullsheez. I mean, when Bush was president, the military got it GOOD (and I mean, reeeeaaaaaal good) but we had to do a lot of sacrifices (which seemed a little too much). But Barack keeps saying that he'll take out the troops and "bring them home" but what's happening? We're opening more overseas bases and closing the ones in the US. WHY?! WHY DO WE NEED MORE OVERSEAS?! And now he promises that he'll get them out by 2013? I don't think so. We lost too many lives because of this. NO BUENO.
I believe that the war in Iraq and/or Afghanistan NEVER happened. Sure, they were having a little bit of a bicker but what country doesn't? But they were never a threat to us. Bush was just wanting something they have that we have no idea about but he was wanting some action over there. I don't know if he wanted to bring in some crack into our country (Since crack originated in Afghanistan) but ever since we came into the middle east, things just went WILD! And a war over nothing started... A lot of people just started making stuff up just to make it seem real and the media and news just glorify it to make it seem like it's some bloody gore piece of Hell but in reality, WE are making it worse for THEM.
Here's the thing... America just wants to be in the middle of everyone's business to "help them" when we need to learn how to keep our noses out of their business. IF they need our help, they can just ask. But we can't go there whenever we want to. Now the middle east hates the Americans and the American's hate the middle east. When before, the American's NEVER KNEW where the hell the middle east was and the middle east HATED EACH OTHER.
COME ON, NOW! And then we stepped in and now some war is happening over nothing. Seriously.
I love Ron Paul because he sees racism and what makes me love him more is he doesn't care if he doesn't win the presidential elections. He even thinks that he might not win but he's out there, trying his best with all his heart and is trying to open people's eyes to take a look at the bigger picture.
GO RON PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This will be enough for me today. Lol.
GO RON PAUL!,
