A Big Sunday Night.

So, Elder Ortiz invited me to go to their church however, he and the other Elders that I've met were attending some event at the Singles Ward so he contacted Sister Davis (Lorena Davis) and she came to pick me up at my house and brought me to church, which then I met Elder Jeffery who took me around places in the church and helped me feel comfortable during the whole thing even though it was overwhelming.

But after church, I had to head to the class/lecture/discussions and I honestly enjoyed that and then we had to gather in the church hall to listen to the Patriarch talk about something for an hour. At the end, I realized that I had been at the church for four hours!

And then Ms. Davis invited me for dinner since it was the end of the two-day fast. So she drops me home to rest for an hour, and then she phones Mark and Claudia to come pick me up at my apartment and take me there then I meet with everyone else whom I saw at the church.

KABOBS. OMG. THERE WERE KABOBS. So we had skewers and we were to make our own and the Bishop was the one that grilled it for us. OHMAN, WAS IT GOOD!

Too bad some of the Elders that was at the Singles Ward couldn't come. Elder Larsen is one gorgeous Elder. Too bad he's off the market for the next year and a half. Yes, I shouldn't be talking like this about an Elder but if you too saw him, he will make you and all women swoon! FREAKING. GORGEOUS. WITH BLUE EYES.

And then after getting my share, I then get a seat in between David and Ernest. (Thank you, Ernest) and while being seated in the middle, David is ranting on how he has fallen in love with a girl but isn't sure if she's married or in a relationship (since she's not from the Singles Ward) and then people keep giving him advice that any other would but he keeps saying that girls don't date him because he doesn't drive and then some of them start making fun of him (indirectly) and asks him to make a love song for her and then he comes up with a song, on the spot, and sings. It was... Like... Experiencing American Idol's audition's while I'm chewing on my delicious kabobs. And then he said that there are more fishes in the sea and needs to change his "bait" so then everyone starts making fun of him again and says, "Well then maybe you might want to change your style. What are you going for now? Salmon? Tuna? Halibut? SWORDFISH? Unicornfish?!" and everyone starts cracking up because David starts stressing out that people aren't understanding him when it's the other way around, we just didn't want our get together to be moody and sad but he didn't grasp the idea. But it was hilarious! AND THENNNNNNNN, Ernest starts singing the "Mario Kart Love Song" over and over and over and over AGAIN. Ohmygod. But since I'm stuck in the middle, watching people laugh at them and Claudia is recording it all, I laugh and try not to choke on my kabob.

It was really good to be able to meet all of them, get to know them and have some delicious dessert. MMMM. Pound cake with ice cream of our choice on top drizzled with Mrs. Davis' homemade chocolate fudge! MMMMMMM. And I took the cake and ice cream home but Mark took the fudge. LOL.

I can't wait to see them all again, actually. They are such great people. I almost forgot they're all Mormons.

Too bad I can't remember all their names. I met so many people and most of them are by their last names (if they are Elders) and I met too many people knowing their first names but it was too much to take in but I'll get it soon enough. Lol.

I was so full yesterday though but now I'm starving. Sigh.

MMMMMormon,
Otter
